Things to do at home during the quarantine

Are you on the verge of losing your sanity?

Are you tired of watching Netflix from the dusk till dawn?

Well, this extended spring break was something that no one ever expected. But it is very important to stay positive during this tough time.

So instead of freaking out, focus on yourself and on the ones who matter the most to you and spend your precious time on them. Instead of focusing on the things that you cannot do, focus on the things that you can do.

Here is a list of things that you can do during the quarantine period to make it more productive -

Invest time in reading

Remember the books in your bucket list that you were not able to read because of the shortage of time? Well, now you have plenty of time to tackle the huge stack of novels next to your bed. You can read a few self-help and motivational books to deal with this phase.

You can also try out various audiobooks for a change!

Pick an online course

What’s better than brushing up your skills? Picking an online course is undoubtedly one of the best ways to eliminate the quarantine boredom and invest your time in doing something productive.

There are tons of online courses available to upgrade your skills. It is the perfect time to explore an entirely new area and to add value to the CV.

Workout

Just because you don’t have any equipment, doesn’t mean you can’t work out.

Enroll for an online training session and don’t let lockdown be another excuse for skipping out the workout session. Another great way to stay in shape is by practicing yoga. It will not just keep you physically fit but will also calm your mind. Also, waking up early in the morning helps you to stay healthy and fit and also improves the concentration level.

It is time to stay grounded and peaceful in your inner world.

Declutter your home

What can be a better time to declutter your home than quarantine?

Time to rethink whether you really need all those stuff spilling out of your wardrobe?

Get rid of all the unnecessary things and make your home more organized and pleasant. Get a fresh start now.

Happy decluttering!

Time to organize

Time to organize your wardrobe, drawer, shelf, basement, etc. which you always avoid due to lack of time.

Also, if you are doing work from home avoid working in the living room due to so many distractions. Instead, create an organized workspace to stay on track and get you things done easily and on time.

Pamper your skin

Just because you are in pajamas all day round doesn’t mean you can skip washing your face. Follow a proper skincare routine and pamper your skin with amazing DIY products (face masks, hair masks, etc.) that you can make from what you already have at home.

Remember not to touch your face with unwashed hands.

Gardening

How about cutting back on things that you need to pick up at the grocery store?

Apart from being a fun activity, gardening can help you to relax and get creative. Plus it also gives you a sense of satisfaction and reward.

Garnish your dishes with freshly grown coriander!

Instead of panicking and stressing over the fact that you cannot go out, spend your precious time with your family. It is a hard time for all of us. Take part in various activities in order to avoid boredom and dodge anxiety.

Practice social distancing.

Have a healthy and balanced diet!

Stay healthy & stay safe!
